I tried putting them all in the community folder and that does seem to have worked as i am in game now with the regular cessna 172. Update 2: well that actually didn't work - i thought it was going to because the planes all showed up in the sim for a minute but then they disappeared.

Update: so i figured out how to do it my friend - you don't put the planes into the community folder because they aren't add on planes, right? you put them in the official folder.
